Living in Bucharest for many years, loving the sea and travelling mostly in the mountains. I live in Bucharest since 2013, when I came here to study at the Economics Academy. From the first moment I was fascinated by the beauty and complexity of the city. Bucharest is architecture, culture, art, music, agitation, agony, relaxation, avant-garde, classicism, all in one . . place. Each day I discover new things so that after so many years I am even more enthusiastic. I invite you to share the pleasure of discovering Bucharest and Romania on a magnificent trip. Are you ready? Now I manage a short term rental agency, offering apartments and studios mostly to tourist that visit our town. This is how I start guiding tourists. Most of my guests asked informations about Romania and Bucharest and I'm more than happy to share my knowledge. I prefer one day trips, because it offers a complex mix of incursions in nature, landscapes, history, local culture, civilization, royalty. If you need any details feel free to ask me anytime. See you soon! I have a tourism manager certification and I follow the qualification courses for the guide activity. I studied Academy of Economic Studies and Law University in Bucharest. - I can guide you in English and Italian. - My car can fit up to 2 people comfortably. If your group is bigger don't worry, will rent a van and we will feel comfortable and have fun. Extra fee is applied

Meandering through spectacular landscapes, virgin forests, and mountain ridges, this route offers a unique foray into the Carpathian Mountains. Animals from the local fauna, including bears, can often be seen from the car, offering unique photos. Being fully open only during the summer, you now have the opportunity to take advantage of a unique trip to admire man's foray into nature, in perfect communion. Famous Transfagarasan road, also known as National Road 7C, is going across Fagaras Mountains. It has around 150km, starting next to Bascov village and ending next to Cartisoara village, and it's connecting 2 major regions of Romania, Muntenia and Transylvania. It was built between 1970 and 1974, during the communist regime, with the strategic purpose, to facilitate the movement of troops during a possible war. During the winter this road is closed for the most part of it, because of snow, strong winds and rock slides. We can stop and visit Poenari fortress, Vidraru Dam and Balea Glacial Lake also.
We meet in the morning at your accommodation place. I'm flexible regarding departure time, but not too late because we prefer to spend more time in the mountains. - First stop is at Poenari fortress (if you chose, we can climb 1482 steps) or we can just admire it from bottom of the mountain. - Second stop is at Vidraru Dam (photos) - Third stop is at Balea Glacial Lake - Fourth stop is in Brasov Old Town area, for a short coffee break. In the evening we'll be back in Bucharest. If you have any special requests feel free to contact me anytime and I can customize the tour.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
We will use a modern, comfortable car, depending on the group size. During the trip we will have: wifi internet access, air conditioning and good mood :).
