I am your tour guide, Andreea, your new friend in Romania! I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing with you my experiences, my knowledge and my love for my city and my country! I have a genuine interest in meeting new people, from all over the world. That's why I don't consider tour guiding a job but rather a hobby, directly connected to my traveling around the world! I became a licensed tour guide in 2019, following an older dream of mine, since about 10 years before, when I first started to consider this profession. I have started with a bike tour in Bucharest and eventually came across my favorite tour: Life in Communism. I did a lot of research on it because I realized it answers many of my personal questions, regarding Romanian's (including myself) nowadays behavior and lifestyle and, as much as I learned about the regime, I got more and more interested in the subject. At the end of the day, it finally made sense my choice to follow the studies of the Political Science University in Romania. . . I was born and raised in Bucharest, during the Communist regime, and I consider myself privileged to have witnessed all the changes in this city, an the country itself, in the past 30 years. I know my city's history, secret spots, main attractions but I will also share information regarding it's people and the life in Romania, altogether. I will also introduce you to some of our traditions and help you experience local cuisine and beverages. I am a happy person, full of life, passionate about my work, eager to meet people and to help them discover the real experience of Bucharest and Romania. I am also willing to shape my tours based on your specific needs so please feel free to ask about anything you might like to experience in this beautiful, amazing country of ours! Looking forward to meeting you :) I hold a license as a National Tour guide since 2019. I hold a license in Political Science from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies, obtained in 2007 None
