We will drive through the medieval Transylvania to visit towns like Brasov, Sighisoara, or Sibiu, fortified churches of Biertan and Prejmer (UNESCO World Heritage Sites) or the famous castles Bran (related Dracula's legend) and Hunyady (Corvinesti). Alba Iulia (Alba Carolina) the former Habsburg capital of Transylvania will complete the tour of the best sites in Transylvania. This is your best way to discover the daily life of people in the countryside, enjoying the drive through the gently rolling hills and the Transylvanian Alps with its magnificent Transfagarasan mountain road and the best company of an experienced tour guide.
Your Bucharest tour itinerary
Day 1 - Pick up from the airport. - Drive to Bucharest to discover its French influence in architecture and the stamp of a Communist town. - Visit the Palace of Parliament or the Spring Palace. Day 2 - Drive to Transylvania through the Carpathian Mountains on one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Europe, the Transfagarasan. - Sibiu walking tour with stops at the Brukenthal Palace, Liars Bridge, Evangelical and Orthodox Churches. Day 3 - Drive to Hunedoara for visiting the Huniady Castle (XV C), - On the way to Sighisoara stop at Alba Iulia - Roman settlements of Apulum, the Hapsburg fortress Alba Carolina. - Stop at Biertan to visit the most impressive fortified church in Transylvania. - Sighisoara walking tour with visit of the Clock Tower. Day 4 - Drive to Brasov. Stop to the Prejmer fortified church. - Brasov walking tour with visit of the Black Church.
