Hello, my name is Cristi. I am 46 years old and I was born and raised in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania and I am proud and hapy to live here. I started working as a courier and then for the past 11 years I have been in the tourism business. I did transfers and private tours in Romania and in the neighbouring Eastern European countries. I have been collaborating with most of the Romanian travel agencies and the river cruises companies that are operating on the Danube. It is a great job, I find it very exciting and rewarding. I get to be the 'ambassador' of my country and I get to meet travelers from all around the world, getting to know different cultures and mentalities. When I am not working my favourite things to do are traveling all over the world, riding motorcycles, cycling, hiking and breeding pigeons. I am a very active person, I love traveling all over the word and I spend a lot of time in the Carpathian Mountains. I am looking forward to meet you and show you my wonderful country! I have a Tourism License from the Romanian Ministry of Tourism and Transportation I am a Program Director / Cruise Manager for an American Company ,on the Danube river . Overview of your Bucharest tour
This is a whole day tour in the Transylvania, where I also like to go in my free time, and I have lots of stories and legends to share with you. Early in the morning we will visit The biggest Bears sanctuary in Europe. It is considered to be the most ethical sanctuary, so far more than130 bears have been rescued from an abusive nightmare life, in tiny cages compared to the necessary space these animals need, being prisoners behind rusty bars and cement under their paws, instead of grass. Now you will have the chance to see them having a nice life in their natural habitat We will also visit the Bran Castle, a 14th century medieval fortress better known as Dracula Castle probably Romania's most famous landmark. After a typical Romanian lunch we continue back to Bucharest.
