Hello, my name is Cristi. I am 46 years old and I was born and raised in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania and I am proud and hapy to live here. I started working as a courier and then for the past 11 years I have been in the tourism business. I did transfers and private tours in Romania and in the neighbouring Eastern European countries. I have been collaborating with most of the Romanian travel agencies and the river cruises companies that are operating on the Danube. It is a great job, I find it very exciting and rewarding. I get to be the 'ambassador' of my country and I get to meet travelers from all around the world, getting to know different cultures and mentalities. When I am not working my favourite things to do are traveling all over the world, riding motorcycles, cycling, hiking and breeding pigeons. I am a very active person, I love traveling all over the word and I spend a lot of time in the Carpathian Mountains. I am looking forward to meet you and show you my wonderful country! I have a Tourism License from the Romanian Ministry of Tourism and Transportation I am a Program Director / Cruise Manager for an American Company ,on the Danube river . Overview of your Bucharest tour
This tour to the Black see is an amazing way to spend your day during summertime. This is the area where I like to relax during the summer days. In this tour I will share with you the history of this area, feel the vibe of this multicultural city by exploring the Old Town of Constanta with Ovidiu's Square, named after the famous ancient poet, exiled here. We will visit the Archeology Museum, the Great Mosque, the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Peter and Paul, the waterfront with Constanta's most famous landmark- the Casino and Marina's yachts and of course you will feel the Black See breeze. Why is it called black? Join me and I will share it with you. Our next stop will be in Mamaia, one of the liveliest Black Sea resort. The cable car of Mamaia resort is another tourist attraction of the seaside and its surroundings. You will have the opportunity to really float for about 7 minutes, at a 50m height, above Mamaia resort. And you will have a few hours to enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the beach.

We enjoyed our "Day at the Black Sea" tour with Cristi Stan very much. Cristi is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide and he has an excellent speaking voice. He took us to interesting places in Constanta such as the archeological museum, the minaret at the King Carol mosque (where we climbed to the top), and the old Casino of Constanta. Cristi also took us to the Mamaia Sea Resort where he gave us time to have lunch and then dip our toes in the Black Sea. We highly recommend Cristi and this tour.

Decent clothing required for Mosque and Cathedral inside visit. - Mamaia, time for lunch and a few hours on your own on the beach.
