Embark on a captivating journey to the Embera Quera community in Colón, Limón, Río Gatún, where nature and culture intertwine to create an unforgettable experience. Immerse yourself in the traditions of the Embera people as you witness their mesmerizing dances, vibrant music, delectable gastronomy, and exquisite crafts available for purchase as souvenirs. Delight in the picturesque surroundings of the region, adorned with diverse flora and fauna. This tour package includes round-trip ground and water transportation for convenience. Be greeted with Embera music and receive a warm welcome as you learn about the rich culture of the Embera people then savor a traditional Embera lunch paired with refreshing soft drinks and tropical fruits. The highlight of your visit will be a captivating cultural music and dance presentation, showcasing the unique rhythms and movements of the Embera culture.
I will generally pick you up at 8 AM and we will arrive approximately at 9 AM. We will then take a boat to the village where we will then do the following (order may vary): - Welcome with Embera music - Presentation on the Embera culture - Soft drink and tropical fruits - Cultural music and dance presentation - Exhibition and sales of crafts - Tour with an Embera botanist on a short trail - Traditional Embera Lunch We will leave the village at 1 PM after lunch and arrive at your hotel approximately 2 PM.
