Explore Monkey Island & Gatun Lake

So what do you do when you have an evening flight and want something to do for the day.. Well trip on the canal to see it's islands and monkeys.... Our guide was excellent. Picking us up from our hotel, then dropping us off at the airport after. An excellent day...

Edier is one of the best tour guides that I have had and would highly rate him for any type of service in Panama. He is on-time, speaks good english, is kind and very considerate, knows the history of his fascinating country, drives very well and chose some great places for us to have lunch at. I truly enjoyed the Monkey island tour....The vegetation and the interaction with the different species of monkeys was unbelievable. The departure at the pittoresque Gamboa port was easy and Mr Quintero, the boat driver, was very skilled at navigating us through the canals.

We were Edier's first tour with TBL and we couldn't have had a nicer guide. Edier was very good with his communications, his vehicle was very clean and he was a very good driver. Edier was very punctual and picked us up at the pier at our requested start time of 8:30AM. My recommendation if you book this tour is to start a little earlier, because by the time we got to Monkey Island there were many boats there and the monkeys had been fed well and were up in the trees sleeping so we didn't get to see to much of the wildlife. We would highly recommend Edier for touring the area. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Panama. Great tour Eider!!!
