Hello! I am Takanori, your local English and Portuguese-speaking Guide and Interpreter in Kagawa, the hidden gem of Japan's Shikoku island. My journey as a guide began with my own adventures. In my teens and twenties, I traveled extensively, living in the United States for three years and in Brazil for one year. During those years, I realized that the most cherished memories weren't just from visiting famous landmarks; they came from interacting with locals, sharing meals, and experiencing the rhythm of daily life. These are the "real" moments you can't find in a guidebook or on the internet. Now, I want to provide that same authentic connection to guests visiting my hometown. I believe Kagawa, the smallest prefecture in Japan, is a concentrated treasure chest of craftsmanship, unforgettable cuisine (like our famous Sanuki Udon and "Honetsukidori" chicken), deep-rooted traditions, and breathtaking scenery. Every tour I design is 100% tailor-made, shaped entirely around your interests, pace, and curiosity. Whether you want to explore the world-class Bonsai village to meet master artisans I know personally, or visit hidden scenic gems like the "Sky Torii" of Takaya Shrine that large bus tours cannot reach, I am here to make it happen. My promise to you is simple: if something seems impossible, I’ll do my best to find a way. As a specialist in the 200-year history of Takamatsu Bonsai and a professional with experience welcoming luxury cruise passengers and VIPs, I blend deep local knowledge with high-level hospitality. I often use my professional photography skills to capture the perfect moments of your journey, ensuring you go home with memories that last a lifetime. I look forward to meeting you at the port or station. Let’s create an unforgettable, "only-in-Kagawa" experience together!

Welcome to Hiroshima! Our journey begins in Kumano-cho, Japan’s number one brush-producing region and home to artisans whose work is renowned as the finest in the world. You’ll watch master craftspeople at work, learning how these brushes are made for luxury houses like Chanel and Dior, and favored by top makeup artists worldwide. Afterward, we’ll enjoy authentic Hiroshima regional cuisine at a local restaurant before heading to the Seto Inland Sea National Park, where a mountain summit over 800 meters high offers a breathtaking panorama of the sea’s countless islands.
After picking you up at a designated meeting point, we will visit the following locations. Please note that the itinerary may vary slightly depending on your requests and preferences. * Kumano Brush Artisan Workshop (Guided Visit & Brush Selection) * Local Restaurant (Authentic Hiroshima Cuisine) * Seto Inland Sea National Park (Mountain Summit Panorama) I also offer flexibility on the brush workshop visit — whether you’d like to simply observe the craftsmanship or select and order a custom brush of your own (brush cost not included in the tour price), the experience can be tailored to your interests. If you have dietary restrictions for the meal or mobility considerations for the mountain viewpoint, please feel free to let me know in advance.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
8-seater Toyota Noah 2017 Air-conditioned Child seats are also available upon request.
