Discover the Cinque Terre with a Local Guide The Cinque Terre National Park is my summer home, and I feel incredibly lucky to call this beautiful place my workplace. Since I started guiding in the area, I have spent countless days walking up and down its hills and exploring its villages, sharing with my guests the stories, history, legends, local tips, and, of course, the delicious food that makes this land so special. Don’t miss the chance to experience the Cinque Terre through the eyes of a local! Our tour begins in the morning, when I will meet you at La Spezia Cruise Terminal and we take our private Van to enjoy the panoramic road to Cinque Terre to Manarola, where we get off and continue the trip by train. We will visit Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso, before we take the train back to La Spezia centrale where our driver will wait for us to take us to the cruise terminal.
Emilia was a great guide to the cinque terre. We met her at the ferry and went from town to town. On the ferry and in the towns she explained many interesting aspects of the local history and culture. In Monterosso she recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch. She was good at matching the intensity level of the walking to the abilities of my parents (82 and 76) so we saw a lot and walked a lot without ever feeling like we needed to rush to catch a ferry etc. Five stars!
Emilia was a super guide! I let her know how much time we had and she came up with an itinerary that was perfect for us. Her depth of knowledge of Cinque Terre brought the town to life. We got so much more out of our time there with her than we could have on our own. The private boat tour of the towns gave us a whole other view of the towns and the magnificent rock formations. She met us at our hotel and brought us back at the end of day. Thank you, Emelia!
We enjoyed Emilia's tour of the Cinque Terre area. My friend and I stayed in La Spezia and met Emilia at our hotel. She took us by train to all the Cinque Terre towns. We did a lot of walking but it was great! It was a beautiful day and not only was Emilia knowledgeable about the towns, she also knows where the best views were that were tourist group free. Hundreds of tour groups are going thru the Cinque Terre area, yet she kept us away from the crowds and admiring the best views. Thank you.
Emilia was right at the port to greet us. We got our train tickets quickly and took off to visit 3 of the 5 towns in Cinque Terre. She was very knowledgeable and professional. We had time to explore towns and shop. Had a nice lunch and were back to La Spezia port by 3pm. Highly recommend her services.

Emilia was a delightful guide with lots of patience and kind spirited, perfect company for a solo traveller. We had a scrumptious frutta di mare dish in Monterosso, a refreshing granita from Manarola's gelateria, and took beautiful photos at the picturesque town of Riomaggiore. I really enjoyed Emilia's company. She pleases her guests and shows the hidden treasures of each of the towns visited.
