This is a great options for all travellers wishing to spend a day on the coast of Liguria, the region hosting the famous Cinque Terre National Park. Today I will drive you all around this enchanting area. We will start the tour with the first stop to Portovenere, known as the gateway of the Cinque Terre. Here you will have about an hour to explore the village on your own. You can walk to the Church of San Pietro and on top of the hill to the Doria Castle where stunning views will take your breath away! Afterward we will head to the Cinque Terre where you will visit 2 villages: Vernazza and Corniglia. I will drive you all around the coastal area but you will have to explore Vernazza on your own, I will give you useful information while driving on what to see. Later on we will visit Corniglia where I will lead you in the town center. Here we will stop for lunch! On the way back stop in San Bernardino to enjoy unique views of the coastline.
We had the absolute best day with Gianmaria!! From start to finish and everything in between, it was the perfect day. It was the exact thing we were looking for. One of our best tours ever! Gianmaria is a fantastic guide. Took us to the best places in the Cinque Terre in a car ,so much more relaxed than using public transport and going up and down steps. He took us to a fantastic place for lunch. He was a great driver, had a great personality and we saw beautiful viewpoints.Would give it 10 stars. Highly recommend.
What a fantastic day! Each town and each view was more enchanting than the one before. You see so much but don't feel rushed. Gianmaria is knowledgeable, friendly and a great driver and guide. We loved our day with him and felt comfortable from the start. I definitely recommend this tour of the Cinque Terre!
What an amazing tour of Cinque Terre National Park. We highly recommend Gianmaria and would love to do another tour with him if we are in the area. He picked 4 of us at the port of La Spezia. The drive was spectacular. He planned out a great itinerary considering a couple of spots we had seen and also some mobility issues. We stopped in Porto Venere , Vernazza, Corniglia and Monterosso. He made a reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant in Corniglia with amazing food and a great view. We also stopped at some wonderful scenic views and a great shop along the way to buy some local wine, olive oil, etc. The tour was one of the best ever! Thank you Gianmaria!
Gianmaria is a real charmer and the perfect host with both his knowledge and attitude to these marvelous views and wonderful tastes of this region.
1) Pick up at Port/Hotel 2) Drive to Portovenere, the stunning gateway to the Cinque Terre national park 3) Free time to explore the village on your own and enjoy a slice of Focaccia with Pesto or Cheese! 4) After about an hour back to the van to start the drive to Vernazza (itinerary may vary) 5) Along the drive we will stop to take pictures of the coastline, Riomaggiore & Manarola 6) Free time in Vernazza for shopping and sightseeing (about an hour) 7) Later on drive to Corniglia (approx 20/25 min drive) and stop for lunch! 8) Lunch with seaview in Corniglia (menu a la carte), I will recommend my favorite dishes! 9) Free time to stroll around and take pictures from the cliffs 10) Then off to San Bernardino to take pictures of the breathtaking Cinque Terre! 11) Back to port by 5. 00pm.
