Hi guys! I'm Luca and I'm a local tourists guide in Pisa an its district and I'm a hiking guide, too. Here are some informations about me and about what I love! I was born on October 8, 1981 in Massa, a little city in the north west of Tuscany, important at the roman times and one of the few cities never conquerred by the florentines, we are very proud of that! I had a beautiful childhood, I think I was born as tourists guide, why? one second and I'll tell you! Since I was young I was used to tell stories and anecdotes about the places I've visited, telling how the people of that places where used to live, what they eat ecc. . I was courious, in love with history, art, archeology, so after high school I decided to course Medieval art history at the University of PIsa. I had great professors and thanks to them I felt in love with medieval sculpure. During my university periods I had a lot of beautiful experiences like travelling and discovering different cultures. I studied abroad (France and Spain) and at least I discovered a new passion. . . wine!! At the end of my university carrer I decided to become a tourist guide to show and to tell to the milions of tourists that visit Italy every year the treasures of my favourite city: Pisa! This city it's not just the "tower" and the "square of miracles", it's much more! It's a mix of different styles, different cultures, discover Pisa it's like a dance trought the centuries! That's what I want to comunicate to my guest! Few years ago I discovered five little villages by the sea not far from where I live. Those villages are beetwen beautiful mountains with vinyards, flowers rare plants and a blue sea full of dolfins, tunas, fish and some whales. On this place you can hike for days. . . . the name of this paradise? Cinque Terre (Five Lands). I decided to became an Hiking guide to work in Cinque Terre. Now I can alternate tours in Pisa and in Cinque Terre. And what about wine? I'm studing to became a professional sommelier. My tours are a mix of Culture, Art, History, Nature and. . . . Wine! We had a great private tour of Cinque Terre with Luca. He is warm, friendly and informative. He communicated helpful information about the history and culture of the area, and was able to answer all of the questions we threw at him. Equally important, he took great care of us, including as we navigated the train from town to town. We highly recommend Luca for anyone wanting to explore Cinque Terre.
This tour was one of the highlights of our 2-week journey in Spain, Italy, and Turkey. Luca was friendly and knowledgeable. It felt like we were spending the day with a good friend who knew the best way to take in the beauty and food and culture of this beautiful area. This was a bucket list location, and this day will be remembered for a lifetime.
Luca is a great guide! despite the bad weather, he created such a lovely environment that made us feel like the day was sunny. You can tell he is an experienced guide for all the stories he shared and the hidden gems we visited. Kind, friendly and always ready to adapt the tour to our needs. My friend and I totally recommend Luca and we are willing to go back to Italy to have another fantastic experience with him.
We loved our day with Luca in Cinque Terre. We visited three towns and Luca was flexible with our family of four, including two children. We had a great seafood lunch after a morning that combined hiking and train travel. We enjoyed trying a limoncello at the last stop. Luca was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed hearing of his life in Italy as well.
Luca was an amazing guide for my wife and I and another couple to Cinque Terre, Italy. Luca knew exactly ever little trick to guide us around 3 of the 5 Cinque Terre towns. Due to rainy conditions, Luca advise us to do the train option over using the boats and that was for sure the best choice. We at lunch in a family owned restaurant (Taverna del Capitano) that was very authentic Italian food and it was delicious. I highly recommend Luca as a guide. His english was very good and he's fun to be with.

Welcome on board! This experience is a mix of different transportation. We visit the tree of the Five Lands (four is too much and five is for crazy people). By train from La Spezia, we go to: 1) Manarola, here we go to the church and later we hike until the "picture point" and then by ferry we go to Vernazza. 2) Vernazza, this was the medieval military port of "Cinque Terre". I'll show you a narrow street, leaning houses and what is left of the old castle. 3) Monterosso. This was the "Fishman" village. where we will have a local wine tasting. 4)From Monterosso we go back to the La Spezia Train Statio. In case of good weather, we can use the ferry. The itinerary is flexible, for any changes please let me know.
