I would like to present myself as an expert of Itineraries in Florence and Tuscany. Florence is my base town, but I have lived for a long time in Siena Province, Chianti and San Gimignano. Certainly I have expertise in every corner of Tuscany. I offer and enjoy also giving tours in other destinations in Central Italy Liguria, Emilia, Umbria and Rome. My university formation is in the Fine arts and history. I am a licensed tour guide, tour manager and tour agent. I have followed several other courses in languages, wine production and Italian food. My professional experiences were for long time in art galleries. As a child, I traveled a lot with my family, as student I liked the idea of being an expert and knowledgeable tour guide. My passion for art, history, outdoor living, landscapes, cuisine made this possible in my mature age. That is how I started in 2009 my experience as a tour guide. I worked as free lance for several local companies based in Florence. Since 2016 I am promoting my services on this Platform ToursByLocals. I have no words to explain how great experience it has been since than. As of today, I prefer giving guided tours in the museums of Florence. But, I am passionate of exploring surroundings, towns, villages or trails off the beaten paths. My regular tours are result of experience . They are well balanced in order to provide to you the most relevant information and awake positive impressions and sensations. I am ready to listen and to shape the choice of the schedules, itineraries, the pace or the stops in a common agreement, when reasonably convenient and possible. Cinque (5) Terre is National Park, along 7 miles coast. Includes historical towns, marine and hills as reserve. Charming villages, flowers and Mediterranean gardens. Vividly painted houses. Some places have roman origin, but most of the the towns developed from 12th to 15th ct under the patronage of Genova. They feature authentic architecture and stunning landscapes. Opportunities for many snaps. From April to Oct we'll use ferries, weather permitting. Towns have great skylines, little bays, viewpoints, promenades, churches, trekking paths, vineyards, orchards. Porto Venere could be a pleasant start. Manarola, has a wonderful viewpoint above it's little port. Vernazza is a vibrant, colorful town concentrated all along the main street. Monterosso is bigger, has a sand beach for summer relax. Restaurants and shopping in historical center. Train is best to return to Spezia. Transfer to the cruise port walking max 15 min. Option taxi available
Sinisa hosted our private tour along the Cinque Terre shore. His being familiar with the area, he pointed out a lot of interesting things we might have otherwise missed. He gave us interesting historical facts AND directed us to a local restaurant so we got to experience great Italian food. Sinisa was engaging and fun to be with. We especially enjoyed be hosted by someone extremely familiar with the Area. We give him a 10 on a scale of 10!!!
Our tour was wonderful. Sinisa met us at the agreed upon point right on time and returned us to our ship at the end of the tour. He was very knowledgeable and gave us history of the area on our journey out. He stopped for picture opportunities along the way. We visited 4 villages some walking and mostly by train. We had a very good lunch at a restaurant Sinisa recommended. He was very solicitous getting us on and off the public transportation. We really enjoyed our tour. Car was comfortable as well.
Sinisa is great! We can't thank him enough for going out of his way to provide the maximum touring experience possible for my wife who requires a manual wheelchair for touring. Through his willingness to exert great physical effort in pushing her up steep inclines, we were able to see the town of Manarola, a gem in the Cinque Terre region, as well as two other Cinque Terre towns, Corniglia and Monterosso, and Porto Venere. This is far more than any of the bus tours offered by the cruise line. Grazie!
A guide, who changed the schedule, on the spur of the moment, to accommodate whims was priceless. Sinsia fit the bill on our recent trip to the Cinque Terre. We decided to spend more time in Pisa. It did not leave enough time to visit all five, therefore we visited uno Terre, Monterosso. It included a leisurely waterside lunch and time to photograph the rockbound coat line. Sinisa's impeccably maintained vehicle and his careful driving created a relaxing atmosphere for the day.
Did a tour of Cinque Terre last May. There were 6 of us. Our tour was fantastic. Sinisa was extremely pleasant, informative and provided us with a wonderful experience we will remember forever. Wholeheartedly recommend him!
- 09. 00 Cruise terminal of La Spezia, on good weather navigation to Porto Venere 09. 45. 50 min available for a guided visit If ferries aren't available we'll get to Manarola by train from - 10. 00 Manarola - 12. 30 Vernazza - 13. 30 Monterosso , time for beach , lunch break , shopping and time to relax at Monterosso till 15. 45 - 17. 00 return to La Spezia train station. 15 min walk to back to the cruise terminal. This time schedule is geared. Changes are possible but not desirable.

From April to October is available Ferry Service of 5 Terre and La Spezia. On a good weather condition it is the best option. Otherwise we'll take train, rapidly moving between the towns. Another option is to drive 25 min to Manarola, and continue by train. This to avoid congestion on the trains.
