Ciao! My name is Veronica and "discovering" is MY word! Thanks to my studies in languages I started to travel the world when I was very young and I could build my acknowledge about other cultures abroad. I love to meet people and get to know other countries with their different traditions in art, food, (and wines!) and stories. I live near the sea, in a small town halfway from La Spezia and Livorno, in the town of Puccini, Torre del Lago. My husband is from La Spezia, so I can say I feel a little bit in the middle of two wonderful regions, full of so many simple and great traditions. I am very passionate about nature and animals too, and we live with our horse and three cats. I am an environmental and hiking guide and I will be very pleased to share my knowledge about the territory with you! There is so much to learn to understand a culture and nature is the key, with its vegetation, wildlife and its geological history. My aim is to lead you in hidden treasures of Tuscany and Liguria and their timeless classical highlights, always keeping an eye on the environment. Visit of 3 villages: Portovenere, Riomaggiore and Corniglia. If you have already visited the "Cinque Terre" or if you just want to leave the crowd and try this new experience off the beaten tracks, this is the tour for you! We visit first Portovenere with its lovely church of Saint Peter, perched up on the hill, admiring the wonderful view of the bay, then we go to Riomaggiore with its characteristic small colored harbor where we can enjoy a typical Ligurian lunch and in the afternoon visit of the least visited village of Corniglia, the only one located on the top of the hill, reachable by train. You can't miss this opportunity to enjoy the ligurian Riviera as a local!
I could not imagine a better way of visiting Cinque Terre. Veronica provided a wonderful explanation of the culture and history of the region as we use all modes of transportation through the area. Her detailed knowledge of the villages were vital in maneuvering through the masses and also suggesting an outstanding lunch location. A once in a lifetime tour!
Veronica is an excellent guide. She is very adaptable and adjusted our day due to the ferries not operating because of heavy seas. We had a great day in Cinque Terre with Veronica!

Departure from the Cruise Ship Port (600 meters walk) and embarking to Portovenere (about 30 minutes). Visit of: - Portovenere (about 1 hour), the enchanting town with its old fortifications and its coloured seafront houses - Riomaggiore will be reached by ferry cruising the amazing coast of the National Parc. Stop in Riomaggiore for a typical "aperitivo" or light lunch in a very local coffee bar overlooking the dramatic Ligurian coast. After having admired the Cinque Terre from the coast, we visit Riomaggiore where we can get a picture of the most characteristic harbor of the Riviera. - In the afternoon, Corniglia awaits us! We catch the train from Riomaggiore to Corniglia (about 10 minutes) and our driver will wait for us in front of the station and will take us on the top of the hill, where Corniglia lies. It is the least visited village, because of its location, that is why it is such an experience to stroll among its amazing "carrugi" (alleys). Transfer by van back to the Port of La Spezia
