I’m Andrea — nature & hiking guide, forager, artist, architect and photographer. I was born in La Spezia and I’ve spent a third of my life traveling — on personal journeys, scientific expeditions as a photographer and assistant, and as a travel companion. My artistic work is rooted in analog photography, where I explore light, textures and the quiet details of the natural world. I’ve also worked in fashion portraiture and as a personal shopper for vintage clothing and interior pieces in Milan and Florence. These experiences taught me how to read people, atmospheres and style with precision and ease. When useful, I can bring professional equipment to create portraits, visual notes or small botanical compositions during the day. As a forager and long‑time explorer of these hills, I often integrate wild plants into the experience: a leaf to dry, a scent to remember, a small herb diary to take home. Sometimes we craft natural incense from local species — a simple, elegant way to carry the landscape with you. I’m comfortable with every kind of traveler — from relaxed visitors to high‑end clients. I adapt naturally, sometimes with a small change in clothing, sometimes simply through presence, discretion and attention. My style is calm, respectful and understated. Each outing is shaped around the person in front of me: scenic or introspective, slow or energetic, classic or off‑the‑beaten‑path. Beauty often hides in small details — a shift of light, a texture under your fingers, a story carried by a plant. My role is to help you notice them, and to create a moment that feels grounded, personal and truly yours. If you’re looking for a guide who blends practicality, culture and a touch of artistry, I’d be glad to explore this corner of the world with you.

Cinque Terre is a rare blend of beauty and human resilience: five coastal villages framed by steep terraced vineyards, ancient dry‑stone walls and citrus groves cascading from the mountains to the sea. It’s a cultural landscape like no other — a handcrafted Mediterranean world suspended between sky and water. This full‑day experience offers a curated way to explore the National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the area is famously crowded, I guide you through quieter corners, panoramic viewpoints and village atmospheres that still feel genuine. Expect a slower rhythm, thoughtful choices and a deeper connection to the place. Local flavors complete the journey. With limited farmland, foraging shaped our traditions: herbs, berries, honey, seasonal fruits, small‑scale cheeses and fresh catch from the sea. Paired with a glass of Cinque Terre wine, these tastes become a refined and memorable highlight of your day on the Italian Riviera.
- 9:30 AM in La Spezia. From the Cruise Terminal we reach the train station with a pleasant walk or a short taxi ride. Travelling by train, we often start in Riomaggiore, enjoying its sea views and narrow lanes, before continuing to Monterosso for a relaxed stroll, lunch or time by the water. In the afternoon, we visit Vernazza or Manarola, depending on sea conditions and your preferences. Each offers beautiful viewpoints, colorful harbors and quieter corners away from the crowds. When possible, we may also travel by ferry to admire the coastline from the sea. Throughout the day, I guide you smoothly, help you avoid the busiest areas and suggest quality spots for food, wine or local products. You can shape the rhythm: cultural, scenic, relaxed or balanced. We return to La Spezia by train, and I escort you back to the Cruise Terminal. Optional upgrades: private car or boat can be purchased.

The smartest way to move through the Cinque Terre is by public transportation — trains and ferries are fast, efficient and offer the best views. Tickets cost around 25€ per person, and I can assist you with everything. From the Cruise Terminal, we can reach La Spezia Centrale with a pleasant walk or a short taxi ride. For those who enjoy the outdoors, hiking is also possible. Several trails connect the villages, but please note that paths here can be steep and demanding, requiring proper shoes and good physical condition. If you prefer a more exclusive option, a private car with driver (Mercedes V‑Class) can be arranged for about 800€ per day. You may also choose to rent a private boat for a unique view of the coastline. The cost is approximately 250€ per hour, booked directly with the company (Gozzo Libeccio 850 — by Cantiere Mimì / 8.50 m / max 8 guests).
