Hello and welcome to Tuscany! My name is Rossella and I have been an Authorized/Licensed Tour Guide for more than 25 years, and 10 years ago I qualified and passed the exams to also become an Authorized Private Driver. I use a lovely brand new black Mercedes van to take visitors to the Tuscan Countryside, to wineries, to medieval hilltowns and visit this side of Italian gems such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Cortona, Montepulciano, Cinqueterre . . . and the list goes on and on. I can consider myself energetic, personable and kwnoledgeable. I have to be so. . . I am mother of five. I am a good cook too, I cook for clients and I offer Italian Cooking lessons as far away as Hawaii, where I spent nearly a month. The cities that represent so well the various personalities of Tuscany are not so far away from the port of La Spezia. During the 1hr drive along the beautiful Apuane Alps, it's possible to have a look at the white spots on the mountains, which are the quarries of white Carrara Marble. You may enjoy the sight of the hills with olive groves and the Massaciuccoli lake, where Puccini set his studio for composing some of his famous operas. In Pisa, just behind the ancient city walls we will have the chance to see the leaning tower so famous worldwide, but remember: other buildings are in the Miracle square such as the Baptistery, the Duomo and the Camposanto. After the visit and the eventual climbing of the tower, we hop on our van to go to Lucca. After lunch, a guided tour of the city, once one of the wealthiest city for the commerce of silk, and now a young place where music, cosplays and other activities can be enjoyed all year around. Part of the visit is a bike ride on the ancient walls of the city.
What a wonderful day! Rosella is a great guide and by the end of the tour we felt like we were hanging out with family. She is very passionate and extremely knowledgeable about not just Pisa and Lucca but the entire country of Italy. We would recommend this tour and more importantly Rosella as a guide for anyone.
We had a lovely day in Pisa and Lucca with Rossella! Easy to talk to, she had everything arranged for us as planned. Really enjoyed the walk to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa!
Our tour guide Isabella was excellent. We had two tired grandkids with us and she did everything she could to engage both the kids and adults. Our visit to Lucca was extraordinary. A beautiful historic village, a great lunch in the piazza, an exhilarating bike ride on the city walls and even time for shopping. Then off to Pisa. The Leaning Tower area was crowded with people, most waiting their turn to climb the Tower. Isabella had made reservations for us, so when our time arrived, the grandkids and adults went to the front of the line and up the Tower we went - a memory not to be forgotten! Isabella communicated with us extremely well before, during and after our tour. We were well cared for and our tour was stress free. GREAT TOUR!

Rossella rocked it! We are a family ranging from teenagers to grandparents and everyone had a fantastic time and the things we saw were amazing. We climbed the tower of Pisa, we rode bikes on the fortifying walls of Lucca. With Rossella we took in churches and museums that even kept the teen engage. Plus we had a relaxing meal in Lucca surrounded by buildings that were built on the old Roman arena and the oval shape was still present. It was amazing. Rossella created the perfect tour! Thank you!
