Hi everyone! My name is Michele ( a. k. a. Mike ), I was born in Pisa 35 years ago and was raised (and still live) in a town called Cecina, on the Tuscan Coast. My father is the one who first introduced me to the tourism business, and I immediately thought it was the perfect job for me!! I used to work for a big Italian tour operator, as a tour leader for groups of Italians traveling around the world, until I decided to start something on my own! Thanks to my mother's help I was able to improve my language skills, and I started working as a professional tour guide - driver since 2010. Sometimes clients ask me if I ever get tired of touring around with people in the same areas, but my answer is always the same one : NO!!!! I love my country and never take for granted the fact that I am so lucky to live in this region: my goal is always to provide a personalized experience for the client , and make your day the best one of your vacation! If you are planning to visit Italy , and specifically the area of Tuscany and the Cinque Terre, I am the right one to help you out! I can pick you up from the port where your ship will be docking ( La Spezia, Portofino, Portovenere, Livorno) or from the hotel or villa where you will be staying at to take you on a great tour! The vehicles used to provide the services will be Mercedes or VW with all the modern comforts, wifi and water will always be available for you! Maximum capacity of each vehicle will be 7 or 8 passengers plus the driver. Lots of information on the places you visit will be provided to you, and we will be able to access the historical restricted traffic area of the major cities with the vehicle, allowing you to see much more in shorter amount of time! So don't look any further and feel free to contact me and to book your tour as soon as possible! Overview of your La Spezia tour
Your English speaking driver would pick you up in the morning around 8. 00 am to drive you to Pisa, where you will stop at Miracles Square to take a look to one of Italy's landmarks: the Leaning Tower! Afterwards you will be driven to Florence, where you will be driven through the city to see the highlights of the Renaissance Capitol! You will start with Michelangelo Square, then Santa Croce Church, The Duomo, Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and so much more! Your driver will be more than happy to recommend you a nice place where to have lunch and of course, before you leave the city, you will have to stop for a nice gelato!

Our group of six had a wonderful tour with Mike! Six adults all agreeing on things to see is sometimes challenging. Mike and I spoke via text and email and he arranged the perfect schedule. On the day of the day trip to Florence…he delivered a perfect day. We even ended the day at a winery for wine tasting and a late lunch! Perfect absolutely perfect! I highly recommend.

This was a wonderful tour! Mike managed to complete the impossible, we were able to see two different locations and have an amazing lunch! Mike was such a great guide, he provided so much background and information to the areas we traveled to. In addition, he had great restaurant recommendations for Rome. He was great with my father-in-law who was mobility challenged and provided options for him on the tour. If you have a chance to do this tour with Mike, you will be so lucky!
