Lucca & Pisa Shore Excursion

This tour allows you to see the main highlights of two of the most visited Tuscan's cities and can be extended to see the beautiful Lucca country side with no extra cost. Lucca's countryside is also famous for its villas, once holiday house of wealthy merchants. Now may are open to visitors. If you are interested its possible to visit an estate in the country side to taste wines and olive oil, or visit one of those beautiful villa, with a local guide I am very familiar with this area as I was born and raised in Livorno, the ship port city near this area, and I am fond of wines, so I toured this area thoroughly; furthermore my girlfriend was fond of shopping so we visit Lucca often for its fine shops. You can be sure you won't miss anything that worth to be seen.

-Pick up at La Spezia Port - 1 hour drive to Pisa, ; drive through the city center, I will point some highlights as Ponte Di Mezzo, Santa Maria Della Spina, Piazza dei Cavalieri all from outside - Stop 1 hour at Piazza dei Miracoli to see the Cathedral and Leaning Tower; it is possible to visit both inside. - 40 minutes to Lucca on a back road through pictoresque villages. - 2 hour walking tour in the old walled city to see the main highlights as Roman Amphitheatre, Fillungo street with its old fine shops, Verdi Opera House, San Michele in foro, Puccini birth place, and a walk on the massive city wall, all from outside. You will have lunch here too, a quick one or a good restaurant where to taste local food, according to your desires. - 1 Drive through the Lucca country side, famous for wine and olive oil production, a stop at a winery can be added or at villa ( 1 hour more) - 1+ hours drive back to the port
