Chianti Wine District - Shore Excursion

This may have been my top tour in all of Italy! Leonardo was so pleasant & knowledgeable. He first took us to Florence to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, per our special request upon booking…which was actually quite interesting & amazing to see! We then went for a drive through the beautiful countryside all the while Leonardo giving us a detailed history lesson of his country. We arrived at a local vineyard in the Chianti wine district to the most beautiful grounds. We were then taken to our private table under a white tent, chandelier & table setting for two…very high end. We began our wine tasting of at least eight to ten different wines paired with a four or five coarse meal that was amazing…that is the food & wine & service, all with breathtaking scenery. Leonardo was a wonderful guide and highly exceeded our expectations. He educated us on the area and spent time explaining the significant history of the sites along our tour route. He is an excellent driver who is also prompt and courteous. The winery he chose was fantastic. He costumized the trip we chose to add in a stop at San Gimignano along with the Tuscany wine district that was the basis for the tour. He even added in an extra special stop in Pisa. His vehicle was clean and comfortable for our party of 6. I would highly recommend him and his tours and will definitely use him for our next trip this area.

Make sure you book this trip with Leonardo. Also make sure you request the wine tour at the Chianti winery. It is most memorable and one you will not forget. The drive to the winery was beautiful. Leonardo recommended this stop with lunch included and I am so glad we took his advice. Book this tour it will be in your memory for a long time and make you fall in love with Tuscany.

Leonardo was suburb, when he picked us up at the port then driving us out to Chianti winery in time for our tour at the winery. The winery that Leonardo selected to take us to was completely "AWESOME". the entire group of 8 of us was just blow away from the views we saw from this winery. Leonardo's knowledge of the area, sites, and the country was amazing, he was very informant and was able to answer any and all of our questions. We all would recommend him very highly.
