CIAO! My name is Nicoletta, (Niki), I am a native of Tuscany, born and raised in Livorno, mother of two wonderful kids, with a passion for this magical terrain and its enchanting places. After working with a variety of established agencies in Tuscany for many years, I opened my individual one in 2014 so that I could share my personal way of visiting Italy’s iconic places with travelers wanting a genuine, “tours by locals” experience. I also wanted to offer up some of the hand-crafted tours I’ve developed over the years, incorporating such elements as boutique wineries, to travelers in search of a unique itinerary... cater to small groups looking for a fun and friendly tour that gives you the most bang for your touring buck. My service encompasses shore excursions from the port of Livorno and the port of La Spezia, as well as day trips from Florence. Exploring Italy’s amazing destinations with visitors and sharing my knowledge with those who love to discover new places is the reason I get out of bed in the morning! Your day begins at the port of La Spezia, where I welcome you for a comfortable private transfer through Tuscany toward Florence. Your local guide awaits in the historic center to start a warm, authentic culinary walk. At the Central Market, you’ll enjoy selected gourmet tastings and meet passionate producers. Then, discover Florentine street food... from traditional lampredotto to refined alternatives... in carefully chosen spots. We continue through charming streets and historic artisan shops, where flavors and stories blend naturally. A sweet finale awaits with top artisanal gelato or a classic dessert in a beloved pastry shop. After about 2.5 hours with the guide, you’ll have free time to explore Florence at your own pace before I drive you back to La Spezia with a safe margin for your ship’s departure. Guide fee: €200 on site. Tastings: €40/45 per person. Fees paid separately.
