Ciao! My name is Veronica and "discovering" is MY word! Thanks to my studies in languages I started to travel the world when I was very young and I could build my acknowledge about other cultures abroad. I live near the sea, in a small town halfway from La Spezia and Livorno, in the town of Puccini, Torre del Lago. My husband is from La Spezia, so I can say I feel a little bit in the middle of two wonderful regions, full of so many simple and great traditions. I am very passionate about nature and animals too, and we live with our horse and three cats. I am an environmental and hiking guide and I will be very pleased to share my knowledge about the territory with you! There is so much to learn to understand a culture and nature is the key, with its vegetation, wildlife and its geological history. My aim is to lead you in hidden treasures of Tuscany and Liguria and their timeless classical highlights, always keeping an eye on the environment. The best thing that we can do when we travel is trying to feel like a local and diving in their everyday life; I will help you to experience it, beeing not only a tourist but becoming a traveller. Overview of your La Spezia tour
Let's admire all the 5 villages from the ferry! This is really a wonderful chance to get the best of the Cinque Terre by boat and train! We start from Riomaggiore, the nearest village from La Spezia and from here we embark to Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso. Ideally located on the sea, these breathtaking colored villages give us the opportunity to stroll among their winding alleys, taking us back to the Middle Ages but giving us the chance to enjoy a nice Ligurian lunch or gelato and a swim in the village of Monterosso. From there we come back to La Spezia by train. We visit 3 villages: Riomaggiore or Manarola, then Vernazza and Monterosso. In Low Season (November to March) ferries are not operating and we travel by train, visiting 4 villages instead of 3.

She allowed us to customize the tour to meet our needs. Able to see four of the five villages at a relaxed pace and given advice for the remainder of our stay in the area. Spoke English very well. We visited all five of the major towns using both the train and the ferry, and she threw in a great visit to Porto Venere as a bonus. Your La Spezia tour itinerary
We will take a ferry boat from La Spezia and from there we will admire all the villages of Cinque Terre, having about 1 hour at our disposal in each village. (Visit of 3 villages at your choice). I will give you the information and details about the highlights of these unique places. We will come back by train to La Spezia and we will walk together to the cruise port (1, 8 km) about 20 minutes walking.
