Overview of your Florence tour
This is a tour for very curious travellers aimed to show the highlights of Florence from a special point of view. Florence has important ancient traditions carried on by Florentine people among the centuries. During this tour we discover these traditions strolling in the most important places of the city (Santa Croce Square, Signoria Square, the Old Bridge, Duomo Square and so on) and talking about special events occurred in those places during the millennial history of the city. Do you know football was invented in Florence? And do you know we have a chariot exploding every Easter morning? Our bread is unsalted, do you know why? To answer all these questions, you need a 100% local guide, one who was born in Florence and whose family is Florentine since forever. That local guide is me! You can read many books and articles but there is something special when it is part of your DNA. In my veins flows Florentine blood and talking about these traditions with you is like telling you about my own history.
