Dear Traveller, What I believe to be the true essence of Florence was beautifully captured by Stendhal during his visit to Santa Croce: "I was in a sort of ecstasy… Everything spoke so vividly to my soul… I had palpitations of the heart… Life was drained from me. I walked with the fear of falling." Florence has that effect. Its extraordinary artistic density, concentrated within such an intimate space, allows every stone to whisper history. Here, the greatness of art is not confined to museums — it surrounds you, embraces you, and, if you let it, transforms you. Becoming a licensed tour guide in Florence was not simply a career choice — it was a calling. My previous professional experience in multinational environments shaped my background in marketing and communications, teaching me the power of storytelling and the importance of crafting a narrative that truly resonates. Because a great tour is not just about information — it’s about connection. Having grown up abroad, from the Middle East to California, I developed a natural sensitivity to cultural nuances and diverse perspectives. I understand how differently we may perceive a monument, a painting, or even a square. This international background allows me to create experiences that are meaningful, accessible, and engaging for travellers from all over the world. I hold a degree in Foreign Modern Literatures and Languages, and becoming a licensed Florence tour guide felt like the perfect complement to my academic path — blending history, art, culture, and human stories into one living experience. My favorite dimension is working with small, personal tours, where I can truly adapt to your pace and interests. Whether we are exploring a masterpiece, wandering through hidden streets, or pausing for a quiet moment in a Renaissance square, my goal is to offer more than a tour: a shared experience that is fun, spontaneous, insightful, and memorable. Behind the stones of Florence, there are stories waiting to be discovered — and perhaps, along the way, you might discover something new about yourself too. I look forward to walking the city with you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

The history is only one piece of what makes the Bargello a must-see during your visit to Florence. This is a museum for those of fine taste, a hidden gem in Florence that even during peak tourist season, it is easy to visit. The Bargello is to Florentine sculpture what the Uffizi is to Florence's painting. This private, guided museum visit takes you on a journey through the Renaissance from its early stages to the Mannerist phase, across the building's two floors. On the first floor, 1400's statuary masterpieces by Donatello and Verrocchio demonstrate their different interpretations of Florence's most important symbol, the David, far from Michelangelo's, as seen at the Accademia. The ground floor is enriched with high Renaissance 1500's masterpieces by Michelangelo, Cellini, and Giambologna. After the visit, the tour continues with a stroll along the Florentine streets, between the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio.
The unforgettable journey: - Travel through Renaissance sculpture with Donatello, Michelangelo, Cellini, Giambologna - Discover one of Dante Alighieri's oldest portraits - Learn about the 'shaming portraits' (pittura d'infamia) of Florence's traitors - Learn about Tuscany being the first to abolish the death penalty, in 1786 Itinerary: Bargello Museum (inside) Palazzo Vecchio (outside) Duomo (outside) This tour can be customized due to your preference. Please remember to bring your ID with you (the passport photo on the phone works) . Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different. Start time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 8 am to 12 pm Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm Closed on Tuesday and 2nd 4th Sunday of the month
