We had an amazing day with Sinisa Milanov. The drive through the amazing countryside from Florence to San Gimignano, the tour of the town, lunch on the terrace of a wonderful restaurant, and wine tasting at an interesting local winery with some beautiful wines made this a memorable day. Sinisa made sure to tailor the day to our needs and pointed out places we would never have found on our own. His selection of a lunch restaurant was absolutely perfect as was the winery he chose to take us to (we ended up with a beautiful bottle of wine to share with friends). Sinisa is very familiar with the area and shared interesting background and history to make the visit more meaningful. He did not hurry us and ended up giving us extra time at the end of the day with a photo opportunity overlooking the city of Florence on our way back to the city. Absolutely worthwhile!

Overview of your Florence tour
The tour starts with a drive in direction south of Florence to San Gimignano. I will choose appropriate scenic route considering season and traffic conditions. We may do stops on the way to appreciate beautiful landscape, take pictures, and learn more about the region. Chianti is a wine region, but there's other attractions too. If wine is on the top of your interest, write about that and your interest. To choose an appropriate wine cellar. Do all of the participants will do it. For travelers that are not interested in wine experience I will propose another stop in a typical town in Chianti . We'll than continue to San Gimignano. I will give a walking tour of this medieval town. There are art and artisan attractions, landscape, food, wine, gelato. San Gimignano is the town where I've lived for 10 years and I can certainly give a personal touch to your experience.
