Hello everyone! I'm Giulia, and I'm very lucky to have been born and raised in the historic center of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. While it's very easy to take the place that you live for granted, I'm also fortunate that I'm continually excited by my city's beauty and history. Since I am privileged to know Florence so intimately, I would love to be able to share my unique perspective with visitors who have only a limited time here. I received my diploma in Classical Literature and it seemed natural that these interests led me to want to study my city's art and, in turn, to complete the work to become a licensed historic guide. The historic center was my playground as a child and, with my passion for art and history, as an adult the city is now my dreamland as an adult. Let me show you Florence from my perspective so you'll have the opportunity to see it as a native. I can't wait to meet you and show you my wonderful hometown!! - Licensed Guide for Florence All of my tours are walking and museum's tours within the historic center of Florence.

The Uffizi Gallery is one of the most renowned and visited museums in the world for very good reasons, as you'll learn during our visit. Its priceless collection of works traces the history of art in Italy and throughout the world and documents the birth and blossoming of the Renaissance. The masterpieces of artists such as Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Leonardo, present subject matter and portraits through which I will help you discover not just the evolution of art, but also of the world as it was propelled forward by the Renaissance. Being born and raised here in Florence allows me to be as close to these amazing artworks and artists as possibile and I will do my best to help you understand and appreciate those ancient times full of art and beauty of all kind.
Our walk among the museum masterpieces will start from the 13th c. Gothic style and end with the Baroque Style origins. Since this splendid art gallery has been set according to a chronological order, the evolution of Italian and European painting will be easily understandable, beginning with Giotto the genuine forerunner of the Modern painting, through Masaccio, Filippo Lippi, teacher of the more famous Sandro Botticelli, until Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raffaello, the three Masters of the Renaissance. Please Note: The Uffizi Gallery is Closed on Mondays. ATTENTION, the first Sunday of the month, since there is free admission, I cannot guarantee the entrance.
