Hello and welcome to Tuscany! My name is Rossella and I have been an Authorized/Licensed Tour Guide for more than 25 years, and 10 years ago I qualified and passed the exams to also become an Authorized Private Driver. I use a lovely brand new black Mercedes van to take visitors to the Tuscan Countryside, to wineries, to medieval hilltowns and visit this side of Italian gems such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Cortona, Montepulciano, Cinqueterre . . . and the list goes on and on. I can consider myself energetic, personable and kwnoledgeable. I have to be so. . . I am mother of five. I am a good cook too, I cook for clients and I offer Italian Cooking lessons as far away as Hawaii, where I spent nearly a month. I will be able to also share my knowledge and love of Italian cuisine with you! I look forward to seeing you in Tuscany! License as Italian Tour Guide, Issued by Region Tuscany Italy, in 1997. Authorized Driver for 9 seats van (8 passengers plus the driver) by the Motorizzazione Civile Livorno in 2014. Autorization N.C.C. (Hired Driver with a van).

Personally I love the charming Siena! Its churches, the Piazza del Campo where during the centuries the Palio horse race was held. . . the anecdotes I learned from the old local people still so attached to traditions and to their Contrada. I will be more than willing to share that with you! Enjoy the athmosfere and understand why millions of pilgrims walked the road to Rome passing through here. Then San Gimignano. The city of towers where you may visit the Cistern Square, the Collegiata Church and enjoy the world's best gelato or a wine tasting of the Red Colli Senesi Chianti and the Vernaccia, produced with the local white grapes.
9, 00 - Meet in Florence, then one hour drive to Siena. 10, 00 - Arrive in Siena. Here I will guide you through the streets and squares, including the Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. 12, 30 - Free time at your leisure for lunch or shopping. 13, 30 - Drive through the hilly countryside to San Gimignano (45 minutes away), where I will leave you for the visit of the village by yourself. Time for a stroll and gelato. If you wish, you may have a wine tasting with not less than 5 wines and tastes of extra virgin olive oil at a local organic winery. 16, 00 - At the end, it will take 1 hour to go back to Florence. We can start from this itinerary to taylor one that can suit better your wishes and needs: you want to stop to visit another tower city along the way rather than having a wine tasting or the gelato, let's do it.
