Masters of the Renaissance 4hr tour with Art Historian

Loredana gave us a wonderful tour- far better than I had even hoped for. She knew all the stories and all the nooks & crannies around the three museums we visited. Not only full of factual knowledge, she shared a sense of the history, power interplay, and personalities behind the works- which made it not just art but fascinating art-history. Plus the small size of our group allowed us to ask all the questions we wanted- and get full answers! I couldn't recommend anyone more for the role of Art History Guide. You won't be disappointed! Superstar points to the fact she's an American who's been living there for 30+ years and I understood every word she said without asking her to repeat it a dozen times!

Excellent knowledgeable guide. She made sure we saw the key pieces while providing enough background historical and artistic insights to bring them to life while also keeping us entertained. The time with Loredana flew by and left us with insights to understand more of the other places we visited in Florence. Very helpfully she uses a microphone and ear pieces so you can easily hear what she says above the hubbub of other visitors.

Lori is a wonderfully knowledgeable guide. We had a large group with a mix of folks with differing levels of knowledge and interest in art. She took us through all the highlights of sculpture and painting showcasing the evolution in techniques and imagery through the Renaissance. She told us the stories of the artists and their patrons through this interesting period of Italian history. She wove in the social context of the art we saw with the social and political events of the time involving wealth, power, intrigue, murder, and revenge. We all highly recommend a tour with Lori.
