I was just six years old when my parents brought me to Florence. . . and it was love at first sight! This has continued to be the case whilst studying, working and travelling around the world. Wherever I have been, the attraction of Florence and Tyuscany has drawn me back, time after time like a magnet whose force I am powerless to resist. Each visit unfolded more of its treasures to explore and discover, from the obvious beauty and architecture of the city, its many wonderful diversity of churches, museums and to learn more of its rich and fascinating history, not to mention the delicious food and wine and specialities of Tuscany! Finally I surrendered and came to live here some twenty years ago. Now that I am an "adopted Florentine", my life and work has become sharing its riches and guiding the curious and discerning visitor to discover and share the secrets and wonders it continually reveals. My enthusiasm is boundless and I feel truly privileged to call this magnificent city MY HOME. Come and discover magnificent Tuscany with me, your local guide, walk under and around the Leaning Tower of Pisa, admire the Cathedral and the Baptistery and other picturesque parts of the city and enjoy the tastes of organic wines of Chianti region. I am taking you to explore and experience my beautiful Tuscany, hills, sites and wineyards. In comfort of our minivan, or car, we' will be wandering around, tasting wines, admiring architecture while revealing long and fascinating history of this region. Together with wine tasting you will be enjoying the smells and tastes of local food, prepared from homegrown products which are the eternal inspiration for all new culinary trends but which have retained their original and wonderful taste, aroma and texture. To be in Italy and no to stop for a quick espresso or great gelato, that would be a real pity, so we are going to do that as well! I can come to pick you up at your hotel, or apartment to start this tour that will give you memorable sensations. Andiamo!
Your Florence tour itinerary
- Starting from your place of stay in Florence - Drive to Pisa (1:30 hours) - Walking tour in Pisa - Drive to local winery for wine tasting and lunch - Along the way we will make a stop for a quick espresso (panorama sight, etc) - In afternoon hours we will be heading back to Florence This tour can be customized to your needs and desires. We will pick you up at your place and we will reach Pisa and the winery located in the Chianti wine region travelling by private minivan, or car. According to your choice of starting time we will go first to Pisa, or to the winery for the wine tasting and light lunch.
