Dear Traveller, What I believe to be the true essence of Florence was beautifully captured by Stendhal during his visit to Santa Croce: "I was in a sort of ecstasy… Everything spoke so vividly to my soul… I had palpitations of the heart… Life was drained from me. I walked with the fear of falling." Florence has that effect. Its extraordinary artistic density, concentrated within such an intimate space, allows every stone to whisper history. Here, the greatness of art is not confined to museums — it surrounds you, embraces you, and, if you let it, transforms you. Becoming a licensed tour guide in Florence was not simply a career choice — it was a calling. My previous professional experience in multinational environments shaped my background in marketing and communications, teaching me the power of storytelling and the importance of crafting a narrative that truly resonates. Because a great tour is not just about information — it’s about connection. Having grown up abroad, from the Middle East to California, I developed a natural sensitivity to cultural nuances and diverse perspectives. I understand how differently we may perceive a monument, a painting, or even a square. This international background allows me to create experiences that are meaningful, accessible, and engaging for travellers from all over the world. I hold a degree in Foreign Modern Literatures and Languages, and becoming a licensed Florence tour guide felt like the perfect complement to my academic path — blending history, art, culture, and human stories into one living experience. My favorite dimension is working with small, personal tours, where I can truly adapt to your pace and interests. Whether we are exploring a masterpiece, wandering through hidden streets, or pausing for a quiet moment in a Renaissance square, my goal is to offer more than a tour: a shared experience that is fun, spontaneous, insightful, and memorable. Behind the stones of Florence, there are stories waiting to be discovered — and perhaps, along the way, you might discover something new about yourself too. I look forward to walking the city with you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

We travel in time to a crucial period in Florence's history, underpinned by critical historical changes and political schemes. A period marked by the Pazzi Conspiracy and later by Girolamo Savonarola establishing a theocratic democracy, was also a time when Florence was known as an artistic epicenter, home to the revolutionizing titans Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael. This walking tour of Renaissance Florence traces the footsteps of the notorious historian, writer and father of political science, Niccolò Machiavelli, whilst exploring the city's most reknowned squares and monuments The majority are aware of the legend of Nicolò Machiavelli, the author of 'The Prince'. An enigmatic and paradoxical figure whose innovative and controversial beliefs were heavily criticized at the time. We step into Machiavelli's shoes, exploring his hometown, a world built on corruption, courage, vice and virtue. Get ready to immerse into Machiavelli's world, deepening our understanding of his life and work.
-What we'll do together: -We begin at Machiavelli's birthplace, in Oltrarno, the southern part of the city (in front of the Pitti Palace) -Passing to Chiasso del Buco, a hidden small courtyard used for certain banned practices -Then to Piazza della Signoria, where Machiavelli worked as second Chanchelor of the Republic -The courtyard of the Uffizi with Machiavelli's statue by Lorenzo Bartolini -On to 'Chiesa dei Santissimi Apostoli' where we admire three Holy Sepulcher stone's fragments obtained by Pazzino Pazzi during the first crusade in 1099. (subject to timings) -Then to the Duomo: where the Pazzi Conspiracy against the Medici takes place -Lastly to The Medici palace: understanding the Machiavelli paradox -Arriving to the Church of Santa Croce where his burial grounds are We will visit the highlights from the outside but the tour can be customized due to your preference.
