I would like to present myself as an expert of Itineraries in Florence and Tuscany. Florence is my base town, but I have lived for a long time in Siena Province, Chianti and San Gimignano. Certainly I have expertise in every corner of Tuscany. I offer and enjoy also giving tours in other destinations in Central Italy Liguria, Emilia, Umbria and Rome. My university formation is in the Fine arts and history. I am a licensed tour guide, tour manager and tour agent. I have followed several other courses in languages, wine production and Italian food. My professional experiences were for long time in art galleries. As a child, I traveled a lot with my family, as student I liked the idea of being an expert and knowledgeable tour guide. My passion for art, history, outdoor living, landscapes, cuisine made this possible in my mature age. That is how I started in 2009 my experience as a tour guide. I worked as free lance for several local companies based in Florence. Since 2016 I am promoting my services on this Platform ToursByLocals. I have no words to explain how great experience it has been since than. As of today, I prefer giving guided tours in the museums of Florence. The Cathedral and its Leaning Tower, one of the seven miracles of the world. The Leaning Tower. Will enter Cathedral and immerge into the history and glory of the Pisan Republic. Rinaldo, Bonnano and Diotisalvi masters of architecture. We'll go than to Lucca, a town formed through centuries. A delightful historical center. It's architecture, food and if you wish the music of Puccini will be our mates for the end of this extraordinary day. Recommended to families with children. My passion for art & creativeness, Leonardo's opus, can make this tour one of the most suggestive you've ever taken.
Your Florence tour itinerary
1- 8.30 Start from Florence or other location of mutual agreement. 2 - 45 min driving to Vinci, we will discuss about general history, geography, Leonardo. 3 - Max 2 hrs Museums situated in the Priors residency. Leonardo's birthouse at Anchiano. 4 - Driving 45 min towards Pisa. 5 - The world famous Miracle Square, with the Leaning Tower. Walking tour Cathedral and surroundings. 1 and 1/2 hrs. Free time for a breake 6 - Drive to Lucca 30 min. 2hrs in the town. We might enter to one of the attractions, possibly Puccini birth house or Cathedral St Martin. Please remember this itinerary is flexible. The duration and the pace can be lightly modified if needed. Free time, shopping, time for food and gelato are included.
