My first time to Florence was in July -92 and it just felt right. I loved everything I saw and all the people I met so six months later I was living in Firenze and I have never had any regrets. Florence is my hometown and I live in the busy area of San Lorenzo. I have been working as a licensed tour guide in Florence since 2004 and in Siena since 2008. I consider myself very lucky because being a tour guide is not just a job. It is a lifestyle! One of the best things in my job is that every day is different and that I have the privilege to meet people from all parts of the world. I believe that a good tour guide has to love people and be willing to interact and share experiences. If I had to describe myself in three words they would be positive, outgoing and dynamic. My idea about giving tours is that they have to be more than just pleasant and informative. I think it is equally important to have fun without being superficial and to deliver an experience. I want you to fall in love with Florence and Tuscany like I did in 1992 and make you want to come back over and over again. I hope to see you soon! Ciao ciao Bachelor Degree in History. University of Stockholm. 1992 Licensed Tour Guide in Florence since 2004 Licensed Tour Guide in Siena since 2008 Member of the Association of Official Tour Guides in Florence, AGT I am not a driver but I can arrange for a car and driver.

My favourite artist of all times is Michelangelo. He had it all and he knew it! Though he is famous for the great frescoes in the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo always considered himself a sculptor. Definitely not an easy-going guy but that makes Michelangelo so unique and a genius.
- Fast stop in the neighbourhood of Santa Croce. The tour continues inside the Basilica of Santa Croce where Michelangelo is resting. - We will do a quick stop in the main square of Florence, Piazza Signoria; visit the religious area of Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo) from the outside and the neighbourhood of San Lorenzo passing the Medici-Riccardi Palace. - Visit inside of the Medici Chapels and the Academy of Fine Arts (David). Feel free to ask for a tailor-made tour! I am ready to skip or add whatever you want. Please bear in mind the dress code for the Basilica of Santa Croce. Shoulders should be covered and short shorts or skirts are not allowed inside.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
