I was born and raised in Florence, a city resonating with Renaissance beauty and history, which has profoundly shaped my passion for storytelling and exploration. Having a degree in Economics from the University of Florence, I offer a unique perspective, blending academic insights with a deep personal connection to my hometown. Since becoming a Licensed Tour Guide in 2016, I have crafted immersive experiences that go beyond the iconic landmarks like the Duomo and Uffizi, delving into hidden gems and untold stories that reveal Florence’s intimate charm and cultural depth. My tours explore the intricate layers of Florence's history, showing how its past as a trade and financial hub shaped the Renaissance. Influential families like the Medici played a pivotal role in intertwining art, politics, and society, themes I highlight to connect historical grandeur with the city’s enduring village-like warmth. I also infuse my tours with personal anecdotes, introducing visitors to my favourite trattorias and local artisans who preserve Florence’s rich traditions. Food and wine are integral to my tours, offering a gateway to Florentine culture. From savouring chianti in historic wine cellars to tasting authentic dishes in family-run osterias, I emphasize the stories behind recipes and their evolution. My tours are interactive, encouraging questions and fostering connections between visitors and Florence’s soul. Ultimately, my goal is to share Florence as I see it—a vibrant, evolving city rooted in its extraordinary heritage. If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. I’ll meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Join me on a unique walking tour of Florence through the eyes of a local! Being born & raised here, I’ll take you to hidden corners, lively neighbourhoods & family-run shops that many visitors easily miss. I’ll share stories of the real Florence: the friendships that shape neighbourhoods, local festivals, and everyday rituals that give this city its unique charm. Together, we’ll stroll through narrow streets where locals gather for their daily coffee, chat in the piazza, or stop by small artisan workshops where traditions are kept alive. I'll make sure you meet the people behind the scenes – the florists, bakers & tailors who keep Florence’s authentic spirit alive! This is Florence beyond the postcards, a city full of life, culture, and the kind of warmth you'd only find living here. Since this is a walking tour, I suggest you bring comfy shoes & a water bottle.
·Our tour will start in front of the historic Ponte Vecchio bridge, from where we'll dive into the Oltrarno neighbourhood. ·We’ll then wander through the vibrant districts of San Frediano & Santo Spirito, where the old & new Florence blend seamlessly. ·Afterwards, we'll reach Palazzo Pitti, a Renaissance landmark from the mid 1400s. ·Next, we'll head onto San Niccolo neighbourhood and finish the tour by Piazzale Michelangelo, a square with a panoramic view of Florence. This tour can be customized according to your preference. Notes: Please contact me if there are people with mobility issues in your group and a wheelchair would be used, since the itinerary would be different.
