Half day Medici family tour showcasing the Medici Palace, the Basilica of San Lorenzo as well as the Medici Chapels

The history of the Medici family has always intrigued people from all over the world. During this tour we will explore how their presence and their power can still be recognized in Florence. The Medici Riccardi Palace will be our first stop We will continue to the Basilica of San Lorenzo, former cathedral of Florence and family church to the Medici. Through the local market we will get to the Medici Chapels, private mausoleum of the Medici Grand Dukes, where you can admire Michelangelo's New Sacristy. When the San Lorenzo church and the Chapels are closed, the visit to the Palazzo Vecchio, City Hall of Florence, can be included. Of course the tour can be customized and most importantly it has to be enjoyable. And if at some point you would to stop for a cup of coffee or any drink (depending on hot or cold weather), do not hesitate to tell me.
