Hello everyone! I'm Martina and I'm an official guide of Florence and its province as well as a tour leader in Italian, English and Spanish. I graduated in English and Spanish Language and Literature and last year I decided to enrol again at the University of Art History. I'm also sommelier and experiential tourism operator. I love my city, Florence, where I was born. I feel so lucky to have been born in this wonderful city considered "the cradle of the Renaissance". Wonderful museums, monuments, gardens . . . Overview of your Florence tour
Are you ready to take a dip in pure art? Follow your art and history expert tour guide in this experience you'll never forget. The first step will be: theory! A private art lesson in one of the most important museums in Florence (you'll have the opportunity to choose between two museums!). The second step will be: practice! A visit of an artisan shop in the historic center, to breathe authentic tradition and discover the workmanship of the masterpieces just admired in the museum.
Your Florence tour itinerary
1) Visit to the museum. It's up to the costumer to choose between the Palatine Gallery (beautiful picture gallery that hosts, among the others, masterpieces by Raphael and Caravaggio) or the Medici Chapels (beautiful mausoleum of the Medici family that includes works of art by Michelangelo). 2) Coffee stop. 3) Walking tour to get to the artisan shop. 4) Visit to the artisan shop. In case the costumer visited the Palatine Gallery we'll visit "Nencioni" woodcarver workshop, in case the costumer visited the Medici Chapels we'll visit "Lastrucci" mosaics workshop.
