Hi there, my name is Silvia and I live in a small cute village of the Chianti close to Siena. I am an outhorized city guide of Siena and Florence as well as an outhorized nature guide of Tuscany. I graduated in foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Siena, English and German. I am an energetic person who loves travel, nature, traditions and good food in Italy, expecially pasta and gelato. . . but not only! I am a mother, so don’t worry if you are a family with kids, I know how it is travelling with children and I will be happy to make the tour fun also for them. Working in turism for me is the way to share my favorite things with other travellers as well as meeting people from other countries. A professional driver will pick you up in the morning about 9 am. I will meet you in Siena and tour you through town in the morning. -Lunch break, I can arrange it for you on request. I will meet you again in San Gimignano in the afternoon after lunch. I will give you an introductory walking tour of each town. Silvia was a wonderful tour guide for us in Siena and Chianti vineyard. Her car was very comfortable, the ride was very good, our time in Siena was informative and enjoyable. Loved the wine tasting experience in Chianti and the family owned vineyard that she took us too. Light lunch was perfect there. Highly recommend.
Silvia was a fantastic guide! She took my sons and I on a very unique tour and exposed us to some amazing experiences. She was very knowledgeable and clear with her English. She was willing to adjust the itinerary to our speed and the things we wanted to see. She was very personable and friendly. We would definitely recommend her to our friends coming to Italy in the future.
Silvia was great. She drove all the way into Florence city center to pick up our family of five in a minivan. Silvia was cheerful and talkative during the drive to Siena. She was very knowledgeable about Siena and San Gimignano and we enjoyed our time with her.
Silvia was knowledgable, had planned our tour for efficiency, and was a very good, safe driver. She took our personal limitations (4 elderly customers, of whom 2 were unstable walkers) into consideration. Friendly and upbeat. Took us to an alabaster carver's studio and an agriturismo farm specializing in saffron cultivation, where we had a very special lunch. Early Spring in the Tuscan hills was spectacular. Super day!!!
While we got off to a late start, Silvia made up for it with her knowledge of Siena and San G. Once we got there, she dropped us off, parked the car, and led us in for our tour. She bought us local snacks and drinks and explained in detail about the town. I would highly recommend Silvia's tour!
