Hello everyone! I'm Martina and I'm an official guide of Florence and its province as well as a tour leader in Italian, English and Spanish. I graduated in English and Spanish Language and Literature and last year I decided to enrol again at the University of Art History. I'm also sommelier and experiential tourism operator. I love my city, Florence, where I was born. I feel so lucky to have been born in this wonderful city considered "the cradle of the Renaissance". Wonderful museums, monuments, gardens . . . Here you are constantly surrounded by beauty! I love being with people. That's why I chose this profession! My goal is to give magical, fun and interesting moments to anyone who chooses not to rely on a paper guide. Check out my tours! And if you wish, I can also create customized tours. A big hug. Marty Degree in English and Spanish Languages and Literatures (University of Florence) Tour Guide License ("La Base di San Lorenzo" school) I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

A tour to discover the most important dynasty that ruled Florence for centuries: the Medici! Are you curious to discover the history of one of the most famous Italian dynasties. . . in a unique way? Join me, art and history expert tour guide, in this full day tour about the Medici family, different from the usual. In the morning we will be "in" Florence, visiting a gem of art and architecture, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the first residence of the family. Then doing a themed walking tour, enlivened by love stories and anecdotes. In the afternoon we will be "out" to the Medici homeland: the Mugello area, a beautiful countryside north of Florence. There, a lunch with typical and homemade products will be waiting for us, in a characteristic "trattoria" frequented by the people of the area. And between one glass of wine and another your guide will share with more stories about the "countryside life" of the Medici.
1) Visit to Medici Riccardi palace (Florence). 2) Coffee break (Florence). 3) Walking tour about the Medici family (Florence). 4-a) At Santa Maria Novella train station we take the train to Vicchio (in the Mugello area). 4-b) Possibility to go to Vicchio (directly to the restaurant) by private coach. 5) Arrival in Vicchio train station and short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to "La Casa del Prosciutto" restaurant where we'll have lunch together. 6) Walk back to Vicchio train station and return to Florence in the afternoon (in case the costumer used the private coach, he/she will be accompanied to Florence from the restaurant) All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions
