Florence: the Queen of Renaissance - Half day Private tour

Maile was an exceptional guide whose passion for Florence’s rich history and the evolution of the Renaissance truly brought the city’s remarkable past to life. During our visits to the Uffizi Gallery and Galleria dell’Accademia, she went far beyond simply pointing out famous works of art. She provided fascinating historical context, explained the significance of the masterpieces, and connected the artists, their works, and the events that shaped the Renaissance. Our group was particularly interested in the history, and Maile did a wonderful job taking us through the centuries in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling made the experience educational, entertaining, and truly memorable. If you want to do more than just admire Florence’s incredible art—and actually understand the history and stories behind it—I highly recommend Maile. She was fantastic!

Maile gave a tour to me, my wife, my son and his wife today. We could not have asked for anything more. From a purely intellectual standpoint, Maile has a deep knowledge of both the art we viewed, and art in general. She was able to put the art, the setting and the city into a perspective that helped us understand the importance of what we were seeing. On the personal side, Maile was simple a pleasure to be around. She was happy and made the day very enjoyable. Thank you for a great day Maile!
