After visiting museums and historical centre, we can cool down in the light summer wind and sip a cocktail over aperitivo, or just relax in front of some of the best panoramic views over the town. I propose myself to organize the private short excursions in Chianti with vine tasting and let you discover the most breathtaking Tuscany landscape. You'll feel like you're traveling in a time machine. Instead, strolling inside the cathedral, you'll admire the beautiful Renaissance frescoes, sculptures, and Gothic stained glass windows. It is one of the largest churches in Christendom, measuring 160 meters in length and over 100 meters high to the dome's lantern. The exterior is characterized by polychrome marble, while the interior is spacious and sober, with 16th-century marble floors. Brunelleschi's Dome: An engineering masterpiece, it was built between 1420 and 1436 without external supports, using a "herringbone" technique with over 4 million bricks. Inside, it houses the colossal fresco of the Last Judgement by Vasari and Zuccari.
