Dear Traveller, Since when I was a teenager my true passion has been travelling abroad. As a child I used to live in Paris and therefore I've absorbed with no effort French language and culture, but I'm a native Florentine. That's the reason why I like so much people who invest time and economic resources in travelling to expand their mental horizons and meeting people from other part of the world. While completing my academic background I've spent one year in London and since then I never stopped travelling as tour menager in Egypt, Libia, Tunisia, Jordan, France, Etiopia, Turkey, Greece and United States. In 1992 I won the public contests to be Licensed Guide in Florence / Siena and I fell in love with my job, because being a guide is being myself: a lifetime studying and discovering. My guests say my special gift is to be able in sharing my passion for Art, Economic History and hidden Beauties of Siena and Florence, maximising their time during their stay. Let me introduce you to Florence and Siena unique harmony and flavour: their museums, Medici's residences, churches, home made ice creams and artisanal workshops, still able in creating true masterpieces. The tours I'm listing here are just samples, the ones that I think are eligible but, Since everyone of us is different, It will be my pleasure to fully customised the tour to your pace, interest and expectations, for a true VIP service. For Uffizi and Accademia museums I can book fast track tickets without handling fees as you will be able to pay those extras directly on the spot. *On request I can hire a private driver/luxury and air-conditioned van, the easiest way to travel from Florence to Siena and to discover their hidden beauties. *For Cruise visitors I can arrange "VIP treatment" shore excursions including a luxury air conditioned car or minivan with a professional driver (with pick up and drop off at your ship). I wish you a wonderful time in Florence and Siena, Emma Graduated from Florence University with a degree in Philosophy with a Master in Art History at the Warburg Institute in London. I have been working as a professional guide in Florence and Siena since 1992. I was a guide in the Synagogue Museum of Florence in 1990-93 Master in museum education from Roma University in 2002, Art History Docent at New Etruria College Association of Florence since 2003 Lecturer on Medieval and Renaissance Art History for the Alumni College Abroad, since 2002 I've taken a second University degree in Art History specializing in Fashion in Renaissance portraits. I’ am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle, Cruise shuttle, or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

One of my favorite times to explore a city is at sunrise, when the streets are empty and normally bustling squares are silent. On a trip to Italy, knowing that it's only a matter of hours before the narrow alleyways would be thronged with tourists and school groups, it would be a good idea to start the tour early in the morning, when the city is still silent and cool and the early morning light hits the iconic structures of Florence. . a genuine local treat. Although pulling yourself out of bed early in the morning while on vacation isn't exactly everyone's idea of a good time, those few moments of delusion where you convince yourself that you have one of Europe's most popular cities all to yourself—and you're actually right—are well worth it.
All the architectural highlights of the city centre to see a different side of Florence: main streets and secret corners that remain hidden to the hasty visitor. During our stroll we talk history, artists, the Renaissance, trade gossips and economics. The walk ends in one of the best local breakfast spot.
