My admiration and fascination led me to Firenze, this amazing cradle of Renaissance, thirty years ago and since then I have not stopped feeling the excitement of living in this city for a moment. On top of my bachelor's degree, I studied Tourism and Marketing in this beautiful city which also led me to start working as a translator and interpreter of Italian to Turkish in many different fields with different entities including business corporations, political institutions, government offices and judicial institutions. With Cristina as our skilled host in her limonaia cottage, we'll learn the art of Italian cooking, crafting fresh pasta from scratch and creating the perfect tiramisu dessert. Under her expert guidance, you'll roll up your sleeves and embark on a hands-on pasta-making experience, learning time-honored techniques passed down through generations. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the Florentine-Tuscan landscape, we'll gather to enjoy our culinary creations against the backdrop of nature's beauty, toasting to good food, good company, and unforgettable moments with glasses of Tuscan wine in hand.
Your Florence tour itinerary
We'll meet at Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy the panoramic view over the city and then visit one of Florence's oldest and most beautiful churches, San Miniato al Monte. Afterward, we'll embark on a hike through the lush Florentine hills, passing by Tuscan countryside, until we reach Cristina's lovely limonaia. There, we'll roll up our sleeves for an enjoyable dinner at sunset.
