Hello and welcome to Tuscany! My name is Rossella and I have been an Authorized/Licensed Tour Guide for more than 25 years, and 10 years ago I qualified and passed the exams to also become an Authorized Private Driver. I use a lovely brand new black Mercedes van to take visitors to the Tuscan Countryside, to wineries, to medieval hilltowns and visit this side of Italian gems such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Cortona, Montepulciano, Cinqueterre . . . and the list goes on and on. I can consider myself energetic, personable and kwnoledgeable. I have to be so. . . I am mother of five. I am a good cook too, I cook for clients and I offer Italian Cooking lessons as far away as Hawaii, where I spent nearly a month. I will be able to also share my knowledge and love of Italian cuisine with you! I look forward to seeing you in Tuscany! License as Italian Tour Guide, Issued by Region Tuscany Italy, in 1997. Authorized Driver for 9 seats van (8 passengers plus the driver) by the Motorizzazione Civile Livorno in 2014. Autorization N.C.C. (Hired Driver with a van).

A drive through-and beautiful surrounding valleys, and I will stop to make you take a picture of the beautiful San Gimignano, an enchanting medieval village that has taken the name of the Bishop Gimignano, who saved the City from the barbarians, and considered even now the prototype of a modern New York with its medieval skyscrapers. Here not only art but wine and food are to be tasted, and of course the most awarded gelato in the word. Driving west we'll reach then the beautiful town of Volterra. A trading center since the days of the Etruscans, Volterra sits on a rocky plateau and is protected by medieval ramparts. The exploration on foot will start at Piazza dei Priori, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, and defined as a bellicose assembly of towers and palaces. Stroll to Piazza San Giovanni to admire the temples dedicated to prayer, the Baptistery and Cathedral. Enjoy shopping at leisure, for alabaster perhaps.
An early start in Florence is recommended, since we want to spend our time driving through the most famous country roads of Tuscany, among vineyards and olive trees plantations, then stroll in the tiny roads of Medieval villages and enjoying food, wine, gelato or just simply shopping for souvenirs. Our first stop will be San Gimignano, and after lunch, we will visit Volterra. This is only an example of what we can enjoy during your shore excursion, but please, remember that I can set a taylor made tour according your wishes and needs.
