Let's go together to explore a beautiful countryside and learn about these three Tuscan pearls of the Middle Ages! You'll love them just like me. Departure in the morning from your hotel, towards Monteriggioni one of the most important walled castles in the territory. It has incredibly preserved an intact structure as if time had never passed on the hill from which it elegantly dominates the surrounding landscape. The intact fortified wall presents 14 towers along which the guards used to walk and patrol the walls and 2 gates. Then we continue our tour to reach the ancient town of Volterra, well known for its Etruscan origins and for the many remains belonging to this era. In early afternoon continue to San Gimignano, located on the top of a hill and famous for its towers, Unesco World Heritage. Initially seat of a small Etruscan village during Hellenistic period (II-III century BC), it really started its history around the tenth century.
We had a wonderful day trip into to Tuscany with Massismo in June of 2019, he was very informative, professional, and friendly. He has a great sense of humor and was interesting just to make conversation. His English is very good. His driving was excellent. I would certainly recommend a tour with Massimo if you are visiting Florence and Tuscany, and I will certainly use him again for future visits.
If I could give Massimo ten stars I would. I had a very relaxing tour of Tuscany. Very good about listening and tailoring tour to my interests. He was just superb. Thank you for the fantastic tour, your vast knowledge, your tips and recommendations. He went out of his way, helped me make reservations in restaurants both for lunch and later for dinner after tour was over. He says that he is just a driver but he was a fantastic guide as well.
This is an amazing tour of Tuscany and three medieval towns. The guide was on time with a nice and comfortable van for the 4 of us. Very personable and gave us details while we drove. We were able to give input and discuss the itinerary. Nice lunch at a local wine tasting. The location was beautiful- the pasta just ok- but everything else was excellent. Will definitely use this guide again on our next trip! Awesome day!
There can't be a better way to see Tuscany in a day then in air conditioned comfort with a knowledgable funny tour guide. Massimo's insights were fantastic and food recommendations were awesome. I think we put on 2kg on that day and fell in love with Tuscan cheeses not to mention the Tuscan scenery. Great day out

Six of us took a wonderful all-day tour with Massimo to three hill cities near Florence (San Gimignano, Tremezzina, and Monteriggioni) and the Montagliari winery in Greve in Chianti. While taking nothing away from the spectacular hill cities (especially San Gimignano), my favorite was the winery. I spent some time talking to the winemaker, David Migliorini, interesting to me since I work in a winery. Massimo was a fantastic guide and companion. He's informed, witty, patient, and flexible.
