Hello and thanks for stopping by! My name is Fabrizio and, as a licensed guide of Florence, I will show you the city body and soul in a way that provides the most entertaining, informative, amusing and memorable experience. I have an international background, a Degree in Translation, I am an art specialist and I lived many years abroad (Canada, France, Spain). As a licensed, experienced, engaging and fun tour guide of Florence, I will reveal the folklore, the tales and stories behind every corner of the city. I am enthusiastic and I love what I do passionately: introducing Florence to my guests provides great joy. My personal enthusiasm together with my background and a very Italian sense of fun are the foundations of my profession and reputation. I love music, reading, eating good food (I am a good cook :), traveling and. . . working as a tour guide! I love to open the city to visitors through the art, history and culture Florence is famous for worldwide. My goal is to be your private Italian "ambassador" to allow you to get to know the city highlights and its main artistic facts together with some hints to Florence local lifestyle. I will immerse you and your family, friends or group into the core of this unique town. So why don't you tour the city with a private and licensed local expert? Thank you so much for the incredible tour of your lovely city Fabrizio!!!! We were extremely impressed with your history knowledge and love of Florence. We felt throughly introduced to the city and confident to wander out alone after our walk. With much appreciation - Pam
Fabrizio was delightful and gave my husband and me a wonderful 3+ hour tour of Florence. He was honest about his opinions, very knowledgeable about the city and made the buildings and stories come to life. We appreciated his gentle pace and personalized information. We highly recommend Fabrizio for a great Florence tour!
In my view, Fabrizio is the gold standard for guides. Right from the start, when we arrived on a car rental, he was already at the parking lot, concerned if we had lost our way. As for the tour itself, Florence is one of the most beautiful cities as it is, so I was pleasantly surprised at how much more memorable and enjoyable this tour was with Fabrizio as our guide. He has such a passion for his city and wanted to share this with us ...definitely the highlight of our stay in Italy.
Fabrizio was waiting for us at the train station. He is a wealth of information and gave us a great tour! We highly recommend him and this particular 3 hour walking tour. At our parting, he gave a really good restaurant recommendation and made sure we had our bearings to return to the station.
Fabrizio is a delightful guide showing us this wonderful city. He adjusted the tour to our pace and still covered the vast majority of the places one would want to see. His English is excellent and his knowledge of the city is amazing. His tour style is very entertaining also. At our request he recommended a "fine dining" restaurant for dinner and it turned out fantastic. Would definitely recommend his tour to anyone.
All the city center's highlights will be covered: - The Duomo area - The old districts, the many squares with their "palazzos" - The "Signoria" Square with its wonderful statues (like the copy of the David by Michelangelo) - The central market - The river and its bridges (like the famous "Ponte Vecchio"), and much more. Other than these "must-sees", this guided walking tour will also cover some lesser-known places, no doubt. If you have any special interests, please let me know!
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
Walking tour. As for Florence, you really won't need any means of transport: if you're based in the city center, you'll be in walking distance to most of the major spots.
