A day spent in Tuscany starting from Siena and finishing in San Gimignano with a tasting break in a family farm. This tour is an opportunity for visiting two of the most beautiful locations in Tuscany together with me, a local professional guide, and an English-speaking driver. You need us to be with you during this amazing day trip because you deserve the best and you must have a unique experience. Me and the driver, both working in this region since many years, know the best locations and suppliers to make your day unforgettable. Together we will visit Siena, a small but precious gem set in the heart of Tuscany conserving its medieval shape and atmosphere, and San Gimignano, which is known as "medieval Manhattan" because of many well-conserved ancient towers. Since Tuscany is the homeland of good food and best wines, you and me will taste Tuscan organic wines and food in a family-conducted farm. Choose this day trip and you will be pampered by me and my collaborator. Experience a day in Tuscany!
Your Florence tour itinerary
This itinerary is flexible. I will be happy to customise the tour for you! •Pick up at your hotel •Driving to Siena with our professional driver being at our disposal for the day long. •Walking tour of Siena lasting about 2 hours. We will visit: San Domenico Church (inside) walk along the medieval narrow streets The building of the oldest bank in the world, Monte dei Paschi (from outside) Campo Square Palazzo Pubblico (Town Hall, from outside) Baptistery Cathedral (visit inside on request) •Drive to the family farm for lunch break (about 1 hour) •Light lunch including wine tasting •Drive to San Gimignano (10 minutes) •Walk in San Gimignano: we admire the beautiful and well conserved towers dating back from the 12-13th centuries and then you have time for shopping and gelato! •Drive back to your hotel. Drop off.
