A Taste of Florence

Ciao! My name is Giulia and I live in a small town close to the countryside between Florence and Pisa (Tuscany region)in the so called "leather industrial area". I was raised here and I' ve always been living here, even if I' ve had several experiences abroad, in particular in England. I travelled a lot when I was younger and I' ve always been fascinated by the tour guide as a profession. My greatest passion were foreign languages and for this reason I attended the University of Linguistic Mediation in Pisa where I better studied English and I started studying Spanish. During my University studies I took the "tourist branch" of it and I had the chance to study different aspects of the history and art of my region, Tuscany. I developed an incredible interest and passion for it and the real turning point was in 2011 when I had the opportunity to start working as a tour leader. At the beginning was not so easy but the more I was doing it, the more I was feeling that IT WAS MY WAY! For this reason I attended the course to become a licensed guide for Pisa in 2013 and then for Florence in 2019 and my dreams came true: sharing with people the amazing history, art and enogastronomic culture (the best part!) of my territory is absolutely priceless!
