Welcome to Ireland and my Profile! I am so excited to show you My Ireland. I am a native of Galway in the west of Ireland and am the youngest in a family of eleven. Mine was a traditional Irish upbringing full of stories and legends of Ireland My father Stephen was a keen deep sea diver and as a girl I travelled the length and breadth of Ireland from Donegal to Waterford with my father and The Galway Sub Aqua Club, it is here that my passion for Ireland began. As a local guide (Fáilte Ireland acredited, fully licenced & insured) I would love to show you, your friends & family around my beautiful country. I worked in hotel management for many years and while I loved my job it was here that I realised that my passion is for people! I have amazing people, listening and communication skills, and I am dedicated to ensuring a really excellent travel experience for all who visit the Emerald Isle. I am passionate about tourism and travel and can't wait to show you my Ireland. Overview of your Galway tour
On this tour we will visit some of the most beautiful and scenic parts of Ireland - from the vibrant capital city of Dublin, through the breath taking Wicklow Way to the historic Kilkenny. We will visit Cashel and Blarney on our way to Cork an Cobh on our way to Kerry. We will travel along the rugged and dramatic Kerry coast - The Ring of Kerry and Dingles Slea Head - The Wild Atlantic Way. Then continue on the WAW to The Cliffs of Moher and on to Galway. We will spend a day in Connemara National Park before returning to Dublin via Athlone and Tullamore. I will share with you some of my favourite parts of Ireland, sites steeped in history from the stone age times of our first settlers to more recent events of our independence and the foundation of our state. My passion for my country and my vast guiding experience allows me to take you 'off the beaten track' and experience what it truly means to visit Ireland.
