Welcome to Ireland and my Profile! I am so excited to show you My Ireland. I am a native of Galway in the west of Ireland and am the youngest in a family of eleven. Mine was a traditional Irish upbringing full of stories and legends of Ireland My father Stephen was a keen deep sea diver and as a girl I travelled the length and breadth of Ireland from Donegal to Waterford with my father and The Galway Sub Aqua Club, it is here that my passion for Ireland began. As a local guide (Fáilte Ireland acredited, fully licenced & insured) I would love to show you, your friends & family around my beautiful country. I worked in hotel management for many years and while I loved my job it was here that I realised that my passion is for people! I have amazing people, listening and communication skills, and I am dedicated to ensuring a really excellent travel experience for all who visit the Emerald Isle. I am passionate about tourism and travel and can't wait to show you my Ireland. Transfer Tours of the Ring of Kerry or the picturesque Dingle peninsula can also be arranged for you. Walk through Cong woods to the Monks fishing cottage on the edge of Lough Corrib. Did you know that Cong is also the location of The Quiet Man movie starring John Wayne and Maureen O Hara? Discover the breathtaking landscape of Connemara and the majestic Killary Fjord. Visit Ireland's most romantic building, Kylemore Abbey, from the late 19th century, home of the Benedictine Order of Nuns in Ireland. Optional visit to the Abbey, Neo-Gothic Church, Mausoleum and Victorian Walled Garden. No visit to Kylemore would be complete without a visit to the Ironing Stone, a magical giant's wishing stone located on the Eastern avenue. Return to Galway via the Inagh Valley, Oughterard and Moycullen.
