Mine was a traditional Irish upbringing full of stories and legends of Ireland My father Stephen was a keen deep sea diver and as a girl I travelled the length and breadth of Ireland from Donegal to Waterford with my father and The Galway Sub Aqua Club, it is here that my passion for Ireland began. During this fully guided day tour to the Majestic Cliffs of Moher I will take you from Galway on a coastal drive along the Wild Atlantic Way, through the Burren and up to the Cliffs of Moher. En route, you will pass medieval castles, beautiful villages, fields of dry stone walls and amazing coastal views. I will entertain you with insights into the geology, history and stories of the landscapes in view. Discover the Burren perfumery and the Hazel Mountain chocolate factory. Travel along the Wild Atlantic Way caostal road and witness the ancient site of Poulnabrone Dolmen, the oldest megalithic monument in Ireland. Enjoy lunch in a traditional Irish Pub in Co. Julia was amazing ! She is Galway through and through so she has a great historical perspective of the Ireland and the Galway area. I toured with my wife and 5 year old and she was so thoughtful about all the details so my 5 year old was comfortable. By the end of the trip my shy 5 year old was cracking jokes with her.
