The Burren & The Cliffs of Moher - Full Day Shore Excursion from Galway

Venture with me into Ireland's otherworldly heritage sites during this full-day private tour of The Burren. Relish the beauty of this barren landscape, filled with patches of green grass & countless rows of stone walls. On this tour, we'll pay a visit to the iconic Cliffs of Moher yet also explore lesser-known attractions along the way. Ruins of castles & abbeys will make your journey deep in time very convincing. We'll see the country's oldest dated megalithic monument at Poulnabrone Dolmen, stop for pictures along the craggy Atlantic coast & watch live sheepdog demonstrations. When we return to Galway via the coast road, you'll enjoy the view of the Aran Islands in the middle of Galway Bay. If you're lucky you might spot a few dolphins or seals playing! You're almost certain to spot a rainbow in the sky, although the pot of gold is not guaranteed.

This a typical itinerary, however, it can be customized to meet the traveller's preferences: ·After being picked up from a pre-arranged location, we'll head to Dunguaire Castle Car Park in Dungory West, Kinvara, Co. Galway, for approximately a 30-minute visit. ·Next, we'll reach Hazel Mountain Chocolates, in Oughtmama, Bell Harbour, where we'll remain for around 25 minutes. ·Afterwards, we'll go to Caherconnell Stone Fort & Sheepdog Demonstrations, along the R480 Road in Caherconnell, for close to an hour. ·What follows will be the Poulnabrone Dolmen, also in the R480 Road, for roughly 15 minutes. ·Later, we'll get to The Cliffs of Moher in Lislorkan North, Liscannor Ireland, for an hour and a half exploration. ·Next, we'll head to Doolin, at The Burren in County Clare, for approximately an hour-long visit. ·At last, we'll stop by Fanore Beach for 15 minutes before dropping you off for the end of the tour.
