Jim was fantastic. He took the time upfront to connect with us and understand our general likes and dislikes before we even began the tour. He was joyful, very funny, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout. He truly went above and beyond and made the experience feel personal. I’d absolutely recommend Jim—he genuinely embodies Irish hospitality and has it in his blood.
We visited Dublin and didn't have enough time to see much else of Ireland so we booked a day tour to visit the countryside and coastline. We are so glad we did. It's such a different experience than the city. We enjoyed our day with Jimmy D as our tour guide. He was knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. I would highly recommend both this tour and tour guide.

Our tour with Jim was nothing short of spectacular. He is charming, witty, knowledgeable and has an incredible wealth of knowledge about all things Irish. It felt like we were being shown around by an old friend. He accommodated every request and made our time with him truly special.
Jim is an amazing tour guide … the best of the best. He has a natural ability to weave a story with the history of where you are going and perspective on how everything got to that point. I have had about 10 TBL in the past 3 years and can say he has set the bar for my expectations going forward.
Jim made our Journey from Dublin to Killarney as much of an adventure as our day trips in Dublin - at just right point we stopped at a fantastic coffee shop in Cashel- where we had one of the best scones we have ever eaten - the Irish coffee was also fantastic (Bowes & Co.) the staff was amazing - Next explored Kinsale - great town -next Killarney - Jim gave us a quick overview of the town and stopped so we could get some basic groceries - to set us up well for our next adventures in Killarney -
