VIP Shore Excursion - Dublin Rock Music

There are so many exciting magical locations and musical stories in this amazing city, and I've been right at the heart of this world for years, having played in almost every venue, released platinum albums, and toured extensively. Starting with a drive through the East quarter, I will bring you on a journey that includes U2 and The Cranberries as well as countless other artists that have graced this city's boards. We'll visit venues and studios, the East Quarter, the Old Town and Indy City - and even a famous bridge that's being turned into a guitar! I've worked with many of the best known musicians and producers on earth (I've discovered several), and I always manage to come away with a funny anecdote, so don't be afraid to ask!

You will be picked up from your cruise ship or hotel or a venue suitable to you in Dublin and dropped back at the end to your chosen location. In between you will be driven all around the city (and outside it if required) and you will be shown all the essential sites to visit: Dublin's East Quarter - the U2 Years -Windmill Lane Studios (Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor) / site of U2 Wall / Baggot Inn New East Quarter - The Sugar Club and The Script Indy City - Temple Bar - The Rock Garden / The Underground, The Olympia (Hozier, Snow Patrol, Cranberries) Temple Bar Music Centre & Sun Studios / The Button Factory / The Dublin Rock n Roll Experience (included) Old Town - Phil Lynott & Gary Moore - The Ha'Penny Bridge & Fender City Hall - Handels Messiah - location of first ever performance Whelans - Glen Hansard etc There may be time to do one or two of the internal sites like the Book of Kells at Trinity College or any of the many other attractions. Guinness Brewery can be included if we have time
